Set SDK path

The solution is really simple, all you need to do, is to set the path in the Android Studio to point to the path where brew installed android-sdk (/usr/local/share/android-sdk on my machine).

1. Open preferences and select Appearance & Behavior -> System Settings -> Android SDK
2. Edit SDK path
3. Choose location
4. Copy paste the path
   
5. Click OK, Next, Next, wait for possible installations and then finally Finish and you’re set!

Install packages from CLI

You can of course use Android Studio to install all the packages, but in case you want to do it from CLI (e.g. Hp scan app mac. in setup script or something), you can use sdkmanager. Here’s the command for installing packages stated in the Getting Started-guide:

1. Press Command+Space and type Terminal and press enter/return key.
2. Run in Terminal app:
   ruby -e '$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)' < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null
   and press enter/return key.
   If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish.
3. Run:
   brew cask install android-file-transfer
